The NAHB Remodeling Awards recognize the industry’s finest work in residential remodeling. And NAHB has created even more opportunities for remodelers to gain recognition for superior craftsmanship.
New project-based categories were created to honor various achievements in aging-in-place design, as well as innovations for accessory dwelling units, additions, outdoor living and creative use areas, which could include converting a non-traditional space (such as a barn or a car repair shop) into a daily living space.
“I think the new categories open up a broader range for remodelers to receive more well-deserved acknowledgement for their achievements,” said Steve Cunningham, CAPS, CGP, president of Cunningham Contracting Inc. and the 2021 NAHB Remodelers Chair. “These new categories offer valuable opportunities for recognition because at the end of the day, winning a national award is an amazing selling tool for you and your business.”
Applications are now open in the following categories:
- Home Kitchen Remodel
- Home Kitchen Remodel – Aging in Place
- Home Bath Remodel
- Home Bath Remodel – Aging in Place
- Home Addition
- Entire Home Renovation
- Entire Home Renovation – Aging in Place
- Residential Accessory Dwelling Unit
- Outdoor Living Space
- Creative Use of Living Space
